This about a point where I was so unhappy with the direction my life had taken as it completely conflicted with my moral beliefs. I just wanted to wipe the slate clean and start over but at that time I felt like that was an impossibility and so I just fell deeper and deeper into isolation and self medicating even though I knew it wouldn't solve anything and would only add more fuel to the fire "so I pour some salt but I know that I am just a slug".
