Staring at the ceiling in darkness and quiet I ponder what compelled you at first to try this violent tyrants grip like an eagle to a fish, but I know that if you're born with fins then you're more eager to swim.

Staring at the ground as they lower your casket there's no answers to be found but your mother keeps asking "why him and not me?" the world spins and history repeats, While we stand still with our pencils writing eulogies.
